- The Sofia has 10 safety sensors. If there’s anything in its path, it’ll come to a gentle stop.
- The foot and armrests flip down with the seat. One smooth action and you’re ready to go.
- Your stairlift is fitted with an ergonomic seat belt. You can do it up with one hand.
- The controllers are easy to use. Use your hand or wrist to push in the direction you want to go and you’re safely on your way.
- Important features like the footrest fold button mean that unlike other appliances, there’s no bending or lifting involved at all.
- You even have the option of getting a Sofia that turns on its own at the top or bottom of the stairs to let you off in complete safety.

Anti-slip footrest
The footrest of the Sofia is has anti-slip coating. You’ll never miss your footing when getting in and out of the chair, and never feel unsafe stepping onto the sturdy footrest.
EXTENDABLE ARMRESTS
Extendable armrests give you a feeling of added security. They’re measured to suit you and your arm-length, allowing you to support yourself on them when getting in and out of the chair.
ERGONOMIC CONTROLS
The Sofia is controlled by a lever which can be placed on either armrest, whichever is best for you. It also comes with two remote controllers, allowing you to call it from another floor.
Adjustable seat height
For maximum comfort and safety, the seat of the Sofia can be adjusted to your height. You don’t even have to think about sitting back in your chair, as it is positioned perfectly.
SAFETY SENSOR ON SEAT
The seat of the Sofia has a safety sensor on it, which means it doesn’t move until you’re safely seated. That means no danger of you moving the stairlift by mistake.
